David Miller got his start in NDT while he was in college. He was offered a job by Lavender and ended up accepting it to get out of college, but the more he learned about NDT, the more he enjoyed it. He started out assisting Level IIIs in MT and PT, and went on to run Level II training courses at just 18 years old. He is now a Level III in MT and PT and a Level II in TOFD and phased array UT.
Starting NDT at such a young age gave David the direction and motivation that college didn’t. David was named the 2006 Young Technician of the Year for the ASNT North Atlantic Section and travels to Abu Dhabi, Australia and Canada to run NDT training courses, helping others in their careers.
