The Financial Awards Committee selects up to twenty (20) recipients and up to two (2) alternates each year. Selection will be based in part on the number of applications received. Students presenting at the Research Symposium will be given priority during the selection process. Student activities involved in NDE research will be weighted heavier.
For any questions regarding the award process or timeline, please contact ASNT’s Program Coordinator, Jessica Ames (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Reimbursement not to exceed $1,000 is provided to cover travel associated expenses to the Research Symposium. Reimbursements will be used for airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and meals through timely submittal of receipts. Recipients who are not members of ASNT will also receive a complimentary one (1) year student membership.
