ANSI/ASNT CP-106

PUBLIC NOTICE – The ANSI/ASNT CP-106: 2018 Nondestructive Testing – Qualification and Certification of Personnel standard has been renamed and revised.  The new standard ANSI/ASNT CP-9712:2023 Nondestructive Testing – Qualification and Certification of Personnel is a direct adoption of the ISO 9712 standard and is available for public review and comment from December 23, 2022 to February 06, 2023 (45 days).  Contact standards@asnt.org for a free electronic copy of the document to review.   You may also contact the Standards Council (StC) secretary (see below) to have either of the above emailed to you. A fee of $20 (in US funds) is required to mail a hard copy.

Summary

The ANSI/ASNT CP-106, Nondestructive Testing — Qualification and Certification of Personnel document is a modified adoption of ISO 9712:2012, Non-destructive Testing — Qualification and certification of NDT personnel with modifications made in accordance with ISO/IEC Guide 21-1:2005, Regional or national adoption of International Standards and other International Deliverables.

CP-106 Review Subcommittee

This subcommittee of the SDC has the responsibility to review comments on and objections to the American adoption of ISO 9712, and to submit the draft standard to the full committee.
