Robert C. McMaster Gold Medal Award

This award was renamed in 1990 to honor Robert C. McMaster for his outstanding contributions to the NDT profession. McMaster is known as one of the pioneers of NDT.

The Robert C. McMaster Gold Medal Award recognizes individuals for outstanding contributions or significant advancement in any area of NDT and/or the Society.

Eligibility

IIndividuals who are current members of ASNT and who have made outstanding contributions or significant advancements to ASNT or to the NDT industry.

Nomination

Nominations may be made by any ASNT member and must consist of:

  • A letter of nomination, setting forth the detailed reason the candidate should receive the award.
  • A resume of the candidate’s activities and reputation supporting the nomination.
  • A letter seconding the recommendation from a colleague who is also familiar with the nominee’s activities/reputation warranting the recognition.
