Safe Distance for Gamma Radiography

Gamma sources are powerful tools but they involve some signifi-cant risks. If radiation hazards are properly understood and proper procedures practiced, overexposure can be avoided and work can be done safely. Here are the basic concepts for dealing with gamma radiography in a safe manner.
