Initial Inspection of Turbines
and Boilers
A good remote visual inspection can reduce plant downtime and costs of repairs, improve scheduling maintenance and reliability, identify the abnormal conditions that generate a high risk of losses, and reduce the consequences that can damage the image of a company and the environment, and lead to loss of life. This is why using remote VT for the initial NDT inspection, especially in places with difficult access, is so important.
