Ultrasonic Testing Calibration using Reference Blocks

One of the most important steps in ultrasonic testing (UT) is calibration. Instruments should always be calibrated before testing, and to minimize testing errors, the calibration should be checked after testing. There are some factors that should be considered when performing the calibration. This paper explores some important checks and calibrations.
