Devices for the Movable Local Multidirectional Magnetization of Metal Structures in Magnetic Particle Testing
The efficiency of magnetic particle testing (MT) can be increased by changing the direction of the tangential component of the magnetic flux during the search. For the implementation of such MT technology, movable local multidirectional magnetization devices were developed, named TVA devices after their creator, Troitskiy Vladimir Alexandrovish. They permit an increase in the speed and efficiency of MT. This paper describes some of these devices as they are applied in the industry
