The Advantages of Laser Ultrasonics for the Inspection of Complex Composite Parts

This article shows two examples of component types that, in a high production rate environment, are very difficult to inspect quickly and easily with conventional NDT. Herein is been demonstrated how laser ultrasound can be used as a simpler, faster and more efficient solution to the inspection of these challenging components while providing results that are less dependent on the skill of the operator running the system.
