Images of Thermographic Signal Reconstruction Coefficients: A Simple Way for Rapid and Efficient Detection of Discontinuities

The last decade has seen important progress in pulse-stimulated thermography, in particular thanks to the thermographic signal reconstruction (TSR) technique. This technique, based on a logarithmic polynomial fitting of the temperature timeevolution, keeps being improved. In this context, the present paper introduces a new postprocessing technique of the TSR data by considering the images of the polynomial coefficients.
