International standards (ASTM E-709, ASME V Art. 7, ISO 9934-2) allow the use of fluorescent magnetic particles in undarkened conditions. This possibility has proved to have significant economic and safety implications that could be further exploited by companies. When working in undarkened conditions, the quality of the fluorescent magnetic powders used is of primary importance.
