Analysis of Laminated Composites with Portable Ultrasonic Imaging
The present paper describes experimental inspection of an adhesive bonding sample with three different commercially available systems, based on ultrasonic array. The benefits and disadvantages of each device are analyzed. The results of this analysis will be used in new advanced system currently under development. It will be based on phased array principles and accommodate the most advanced technologies for acquisition and processing of delivered by ultrasound information.
