Thermal Imaging for Inspection of Large Cryogenic Tanks
Thermal imaging was demonstrated as an effective tool for identifying areas of heat penetration in active cryogenic tanks, as well as locating underlying structural elements. Tests were performed on liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen tanks at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
