AREVA NDE-Solutions specializes in mechanized non-destructive testing (NDT) systems and services applying ultrasonic and eddy current technologies, and has succeeded in transferring our nuclear inspection technology and knowhow to the aerospace carbon composite inspection industry. A focus is made here on the offline programming (OLP) of NDT Robot cells, which dramatically reduces machine occupation time and smoothes the manufacturing process. Nevertheless, this feature requires sophisticated software engineering for a correct and comprehensive representation of the machine in the OLP environment
