This presentation provides NDT vendors, customers, and service providers with information about storage, access, backup, and distribution of digital images and information of DICONDE objects. In this paper, we will discuss the DICONDE standard as it correlates to the DICOM standard, what the life of optical media is, and the benefits to end-users migrating to CD/DVD based output of NDT images and information.
