3D Ultrasonic Testing Solution for Aircraft Composite Fan Blades
This paper presents the methodology behind 3D surface following scanning capabilities, from the importation of the part geometry down to data acquisition and result presentation. Each step of the process is explained and illustrated for the inspection of an aerospace composite fan blade, into which bonding defects were artificially introduced.
