Training and Testing Issues of Nondestructive Testing Technicians

There is a large variation in the training programs for nondestructive testing. At present, the emphasis seems to be more on training hours and much less on the course outlines. Employers must ensure that their NDT training meets not only the hours but also the course outlines in a written practice. End users can administer additional tests to ensure quality training.
