Choosing the Right High-speed Nondestructive Testing Technique by Discontinuity Type
This paper points to the best techniques for detecting various types of discontinuities. Depending on the type of discontinuity, the eddy current technique, ultrasonic testing, or magnetic flux leakage can be used. Combining systems frequently offers the best option for maximizing throughput and minimizing waste.
