In this study, the detection and assessment of external stress corrosion cracking (SCC) is addressed using advanced nondestructive testing (ANDT) technologies. It will result in avoiding serious leaks or ruptures and will ensure the reliability of the pipeline. It will also enhance environmental safety, proactive failure prevention, pipeline integrity and SCC location identification for replacement and future repair.
