This paper discusses how The Indiana Department of Transportation has moved forward with a new system to inspect and manage all of its structures, nearly 6,000 state-owned and 12,000 locally-owned bridges. The software allows both field entry on tablet or laptop computers as well as an integrated internet module for continuing reports and reviewing data.
