Inspection of Warbird Heritage Foundation F-86 Sabre Jet
Members of ASNT’s Chicago Section were involved in an aerospace project to inspect a North American F-86 Sabre Jet from the Korean War era. A number of different NDT methods were used to test the jet while maintaining its flying condition for air shows and special events.
