Combined X-ray Dual-Energy Radioscopy and Tomography Analysis for Explosives Detection

This paper presents results of a laboratory investigation aimed at reducing the false positive alarm rate and increasing the scan throughput by increasing the accuracy of measurements. The investigation was based both on the dual-energy X-ray radioscopy and the computed tomography X-ray technique and was performed using equipment developed in-house.
