An Industry-cooperative Program to Develop an Automated Phased Array UT System

This paper covers the results of an industry-funded, University of Texas senior design project to produce a prototype phased array ultrasonic system to scan the blade attachment areas and disk keyways of large steam turbines typical of utility power plants, both fossil and nuclear.
