There are many challenges related to ultrasonic inspection of large and complex structures. During an ultrasonic inspection process; proper data acquisition (good return signals) as well as review and analysis of the acquired data can be time consuming and subjective. The main focus of this presentation will be on the analysis of the acquired data using the near real time Automatic Flaw Classification Software (AFCS).
