Ground penetrating radar and infrared thermography have been applied separately by several agencies as tools for bridge deck condition assessment. Some agencies have preferred one technique over the other, and each technique has its strengths and limitations. While combining the data from the two techniques has been mentioned, there is limited reported work describing the combined use of the results. The work described in this paper demonstrates how these two technologies can be economically combined using a multilevel survey approach.
