In conjunction with an effort throughout the Air Force to improve NDT reliability, it was determined that a standardized procedure qualification process was necessary to ensure the reliability of Air Force NDT procedures. A new process has been developed and is scheduled for formal implementation in the near future. This paper summarizes the new process requirements.
